Maria Filali e Giovanni Eredia met in the social tango sphere, more than 10 years ago. Spontaneously they shared a strong and immediate connexion, based on their common values : their love of life, of people, of tango.
Both of them have respectively a long path as a dancer and teacher.
But it’s only now that they have the opportunity to meet and share their knowledge on a professional level.
They have started in 2018 a common professional path, animated by the same spirit of sharing sensitivity and pleasure at dancing with audience and students.
After studying classical ballet, contemporary dance, standard dances and Latin / American dances, in 2002 they aim for Argentine tango. Since then they devoted their lives to Argentine Tango studies, making the techniques acquired in the various dancing styles communicating with the freedom and the imagination of Tango. Supported by the variety of their background they have developed a personal style, distinguished for its simplicity and unique elegance and they have rapidly built up their reputation by becoming one of the most important Italian Tango couples on the international scene, performing and teaching in the most important Argentine Tango Festivals.
Octavio’s passion for Tango started when he was a teenager, inside a family atmosphere where Tango, Folklore and Rock ‘n Roll were an everyday occurrence.
His passion and interest for Tango music, led him to be one of the most recognised Djs of the moment. Elegant, but full of freshness, his dance was created thanks to hours and hours of dancing in the milongas porteñas. The influence of great contemporary tango masters and dancers, as well as the essence of the old “Milongueros” are embodied in every step he takes on a dance floor.
Corina started dancing Tango at 9 years old, and at 14 years old, she started the first group classes. She is recognized in all the world as a one of the best dancers of the new generation. She has been in the most important tango festivals in Argentina, Europe and North America.
